County Executive Astorino To Announce Initiatives At Westchester County Association Breakfast, 1-13

Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- White Plains, NY (January 5, 2011).  In his first major appearance of 2011, Westchester County Executive, Robert P. Astorino will address members and invited guests of the Westchester County Association (WCA), the area’s leading business advocacy and membership organization – at the 14th Annual Breakfast with the County Executive on Thursday, January 13, 8 a.m., at the Westchester Marriott Tarrytown, 670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, New York.

Mr. Astorino will announce key initiatives of his administration and describe how he will address the economic and political challenges facing Westchester County in the coming year.  Over 350 business and not-for-profit leaders are expected to attend.
After his presentation, Mr. Astorino will also participate in a Q&A session, moderated by WCA Chairman Al DelBello. The questions posed will be based on a recent survey conducted by WCA of its membership.

WCA President William M. Mooney, Jr. said: “At a time when the County is facing significant economic and political challenges, members of the Westchester County Association and the community-at-large look forward to discussing with County Executive Astorino key issues of concern to the business community, such as economic development and tax reform. We welcome the opportunity to hear Mr. Astorino’s vision for fostering economic growth in our county.”

Breakfast with the County Executive kicks off the WCA’s popular Annual Government Forums. Future forums will provide opportunities to hear from representatives of the New York State Legislature, the County Board of Legislators and members of Congress. (Dates and details to be announced.)
