SHERIFF NAMED TO SAFE HAVEN BOARD
Broward Sheriff Al Lamberti is joining the A Safe Haven for Newborns Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board is comprised of individuals from various fields and professions, including fire rescue, education, healthcare, government, business, clergy and law. Board members support and advise the foundation, dedicated to providing a no-questions-
“A Safe Haven for Newborns is a life saver, not only for the babies but also for their mothers who would face a lifetime of guilt and possible incarceration if they let their infants perish,” Sheriff Al Lamberti said. “I know that every employee at every Broward Sheriff’s fire station supports the program and would be happy to be part of the life-saving effort.”
