Portable electronic tonometers such as the Tono-Pen XL and the new AccuPen produce accurate Intraocular Pressure (IOP) readings correlating closely with Goldmann Tonometry. These portable tonometers offer some major advantages over Goldmann Tonometry using the stationary slit lamp.
