Drift Innovation Cameras Issued a Passport to Powder to Kick off the 2011 New Year

Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Boyne City, Mich. – Drift Innovation, manufacturer of the HD170 wearable action sports cameras, will be visiting over 50 ski resorts throughout the remainder of this 2010-11 winter season and capturing the ultimate ski bum adventure of Cameron Bell and Brian Babbit’s 'Passport 2 Powder' adventure.

On Jan. 3, Bell and Babbit departed from Ellicottville, NY, home of Holiday Valley Resort, for their epic journey that will take them to a variety of skiing hot spots in New England, the Midwest, Canada, Rocky Mountains, West Coast and finishing in the powder capital of Utah, Salt Lake City, by the middle of March 2011.

The Drift Innovation HD170, along with the longer life spare battery for colder temperatures, is the essential package for wintersports enthusiasts. Babbit and Bell can record high definition footage while skiing on the slopes with the convenient wireless remote control and then instantly review it on the chairlift with the LCD screen.

The Passport 2 Powder idea came to fruition when the couple purchased jacket models from the Descente/DNA 'Passport' series. Each jacket purchase includes free lift tickets to 43 resorts in North America. Babbit and Bell’s dream to visit all the resorts ignited with the sponsorships from local Ellicottville specialty ski and snowboard retail shop, Mud Sweat 'n Gears and Camerons’ Great-Grandfather’s founding company, Bonnie Bell/Lip Smackers, shortly followed by Drift Innovation.
