Jan. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Honorable Speaker of the United States House of Representatives John Boehner West Chester Ohio.

In notice of the January 5th, 2011 swearing in as Speaker of the House, Courtney delivered this 'One of a... Kind' print in time for Mr. Boehner to mark the event in response to assistance offered by Mr. Boehner. As an individual with disabilities, Courtney was restricted by false records that required additional influence. Congressman John Boehner and his Ohio staff worked with Mr. Courtney to resolve these issues.

As stated by Kris Courtney:
With a lifelong artistic curiosity, my work is created from memories or images that move me and allow freedom of spirit.  What becomes of the result, is another entity all to itself.  My hope is that the viewer can pause to enjoy the view.

As you roam these pages, you will find that my art leans towards what I describe as  Primitive Literalism.  My brush strokes are at times jagged with energy that appears to leave behind texture and character.

The theme behind most of artistic efforts. As my artistry leans towards a Primitive Literalism (Avant-garde), my heart and mind continue to expand in color expressionism that allows my spirit and soul comfort.
