Now Accepting Nominations for the 2011 EIFLE Awards

The Institute for Financial Literacy will be accepting nominations for its 5th “EIFLE” Awards. Submissions will be accepted until January 28th, 2011. Nomination guidelines are available online at www.EIFLEAwards.org or call 207-221-3611.

 
PRLog - Jan. 4, 2011 - The Institute for Financial Literacy will be accepting nominations for its 5th Annual Excellence In Financial Literacy Education (“EIFLE”) Awards. Each year, the Institute presents awards to innovative educators, authors and researchers who create coherent and engaging curriculum for the classroom. Submissions will be accepted January 3rd thru January 28th, 2011. Nomination guidelines are available online at www.EIFLEAwards.org or call 207-221-3611.

Now in its fifth year, the EIFLE Award was created to acknowledge innovation, dedication and a strong commitment to financial literacy education. Awards categories include Book, Education Program, Instructional Games, Published Research, Educator of the Year and Organization of the Year.

“We created the Excellence In Financial Literacy Education Awards to acknowledge the dedication of financial educators across all industries,” said Leslie E. Linfield, Executive Director of the Institute for Financial Literacy. ”We need to reward those authors and program developers who work to improve the financial knowledge of our communities.”

The Institute for Financial Literacy is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization whose mission is to make effective financial literacy education available for everyone. As a national authority on adult financial education, the Institute advances professionalism and effectiveness in the field of financial literacy by setting the National Standards for Adult Financial Literacy Education™, hosting the Annual Conference on Financial Education™, maintaining the Library of Personal Finance™, and administering the Center for Financial Certifications® and the Center for Consumer Financial Research™.
