Diabetic Foot Specialist, Foot Solutions of Estero, Now Makes House Calls

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 4, 2011 - Foot Solutions of Estero announces they will now be available to make “house calls”.  This is a free service offered for the convenience of Southwest Florida residents who suffer from diabetes.   The in-home visits will include a consultation about proper diabetic foot care and diabetic shoes.  They will also provide a full Pedorthic analysis by a Certified Licensed Pedorthist, including a digital foot scan, pressure map reading of the feet, and a balance and gait analysis.  A follow up visit will be scheduled to fit each individual with diabetic footwear, specialized or orthopedic shoes, orthotics, and/or customized arch supports, based on their personal needs.  

“The rate of amputations for people with diabetes is staggering,” said Chris Cole, owner of Foot Solutions of Estero.  “We realize that many Southwest Florida residents who suffer from diabetes may also be experiencing severe pain or other health conditions that prohibit them from easy mobility.  Difficulty finding transportation can also be an issue for some of the elderly population that does not drive. Because of this, people may put off getting the proper care they need, and increase their risk of serious problems.  We are now offering in-home visits so that everyone has the opportunity to receive proper care and have diabetic footwear available to them.”

Foot Solutions of Estero in-home visits are available to any diabetic Medicare clients in the Naples, Estero, Bonita Springs, and Ft.
