Life coach Gail Moore was shocked to discover an essential element missing in her professional coach training, despite the credential she received. So she set out to correct that deficit, and has emerged as a “new thought leader” in the industry.

Jan. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Has there been an essential element missing in the ongoing learning experience of every coach, in every niche, and at every level of expertise? According to certified professional coach Gail Moore there has been and “that missing ingredient is the experience of the role model, the master coach in action, weaving their coaching magic”.

If coaches are lucky they hear master coaches talk about coaching, about technique and the various competencies. But talking about them and hearing them being masterfully applied in a "real world" session are two totally different things, Moore declares.

"Throughout our profession and coach training we are offered wonderful education to help us with our skills, our practice and our marketing. But how do we know what it is we are aspiring to?" asks Moore.

"That’s a problem we have as coaches—we don’t get to hear others, especially the great ones, do what they do.  That’s why your program is so important." says Alan Seale, PCC  Founder and Director of the Center for Transformational Presence.

"It's like someone describing the perfect tennis form and shots and then actually watching the masters play. It's a night and day experience and both are important and vitally necessary. In fact to be the very best you can be, you can't have one without the other," says Moore.

And when do master coaches get to be inspired by hearing their peers masterfully dancing in the moment? Rarely if ever, according to Moore.

There's a certain level of inspiration, education and motivation that can only be gotten by observing the greats at work. And coaches have missed out on this opportunity, until now.

Moore feels strongly that providing access to this is essential for the individual coach but is equally important for increasing the standards of this transformative profession. So she has created a teleclass series in which master coaches demonstrate their advanced coaching skills with real clients—and coaches can listen in on the conversations.

Master coaches from around the world have been impressed by this program.  In fact marketing master coach Ronnie Noize called Moore “one of the new emerging thought leaders in the coaching industry”.

The teleconference series, titled Insights and Revelations: Inside the World of Master Coaches, offers a one hour call held twice a month.  Participants hear a master coach, one at the top of the field in their niche, coaching a 30 minute "real world" session. They then have the opportunity to hear the master coach talk about their process and to ask questions.

On some of the calls a lucky participant may have the chance to be coached themselves by that master coach. Coaches receive an MP3 of the call as well as ICF continuing education credits. “It’s the best, most convenient and least expensive way for coaches to get their CCE’s in the area of core competencies” according to Moore.

Scheduled for January 2011 are Leadership Master Coach Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, MCC on 1/10/11 from 5-6pm EST and Relationship Master Coach Michael Myerscough on 1/27/11 from 12-1pm EST.
