Medisoft VAR Twisted Technologies offers first Droid app for Medisoft

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 1, 2011 - Last year Medisoft VAR Twisted Technologies released iOfficeHours, the first Medisoft app for the iPhone/iPad and marked the anniversary by releasing it today for the Droid OS.  iOfficeHours allows doctors to view their Medisoft schedules and make appointments in real time from any Droid or iPhone device.  The software can be downloaded for free from the Droid Marketplace on any Droid OS device as well as the iTunes store.  If a provider likes the free demo and would like to buy it to view their data, they can go to http://www.iofficehours.com.

iOfficeHours uses 128-bit encryption to securely connect to data and will work with single user Medisoft Advanced, multi-user Network Pro, or Medisoft Clinical versions 15-17.  McKesson recently featured iOfficeHours in a promo for Medisoft Clinical EMR/EHR and Lytec MD. Twisted Technologies decided to offer iOfficeHours licensing per practice so that if there are multiple providers with a variety of iPhones and Droids, only one license is requried.  The Lytec version of iOfficeHours will be available shortly.

The Java-based Droid version was written by Anthony DePalma, whose previous work included online car rental reservation system for Hertz.  Mark Mancini, president of Twisted Technologies raved, "Anthony delivered a bug free, fast and professional looking product in just three builds and 30 days.  He was pivotal to the success of the development.."
