Dec. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Janelle Shantz Hertzler's husband was killed by a drunk driver. On a quest for healing she studied trauma, wrote poetry, journaled, and began photography. She is the author of Seasons of Solace: A Story of Healing through Photos and Poems.

Dr. Gloria is Founder and President of the Open to Hope Foundation.  She serves The Compassionate Friends as a Board Member.  She is co-author of “Teen Grief Relief” and “Real Men Do Cry.” She holds graduate degrees from the University of Rochester, Syracuse, Greenwich and Holos Universities.
