Middlesex County, Massachusetts Home Sales Down, Median Home Price Up November 2010

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 6, 2011 - Sales of single-family homes, multi-family homes, and condominiums in Middlesex County, Massachusetts decreased as the median price increased in November 2010, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, an exclusive buyer agent real estate firm.

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, the local multiple listing service.

Single-family homes sales in Middlesex County, MA decreased 26.4 percent in November 2010, a difference of 214 sales compared to November of 2009. The median price of single-family homes increased 6.7 percent in November 2010 compared to November of 2009, a $25,500 rise.

Condominiums sales in Middlesex County, MA also decreased in November, dropping 46.5 percent compared to November 2009, a difference of 237 sales. The median price of condos increased by 15.6 percent in November, a $42,500 increase compared to November 2009.

Multi-family home sales increased 16.5 percent compared to November of 2009, a difference of 19 sales. The median price of multi-family homes decreased 2.1 percent compared to November 2009, a $6,950 drop.
