R&B Legend Teena Marie Dead at 54

The singer's body was discovered by her daughter Alia Rose who is also a musician, and apparently Teena died in her sleep.
Teena Maries publicist informed CNN that Teena suffered from a Grand Mal siezure recently.
Teena marie was a well respected performer with millions of fans worldwide. Born march 5th 1956 in Santa Monica California she made a name for herself as a phenomenal Soul singer in the eighties with the help of her mentor and then boyfriend Rick James she became a huge crossover success.
