By: Santosh Gupta In wake of it, India Travel is certainly going to be enriched with it giving an opportunity to the travelers to enjoy loads of fascinating travel destinations. Moreover, there are travel events that expose the travelers to the fabulous travel worthy detonations of India. The current travelling event involving an epic hike of more than 2800 miles in length is set to mesmerize the travelers with its glorious charms. Scheduled for the early phase in 2011, it is set to begin with the best note. Travelers can stroll their way through the mountainous regions of Pakistan, India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan in wake of Great Himalayan Trail planned in the year 2011. The trek, which looks forward to involve roughly 150 days of hiking end-to-end, is set to begin in an early 2011. However, there are still some challenges involved in the adventurous journey. As the year 2011 is largely leaning towards Nepal's Tourism Year, India being closest to it and sharing the great Himalayas is set to boost the travel journey in its vicinities. Indeed, Nepal is gearing up to promote itself as one of the topmost adventure travel destinations of the world. One of the former Presidents of Nepal Mountaineering Association, Ang Tshering Sherpa, is delighted for the event and says that the trail is mostly been promoted and built by private sector dollars. He is looking forward to the Nepal Government to foster the journey. In fact, if we look at the event keenly, we find that it will eventually lead to greater economic development. The only concern, which is serious as well, is the absence of teahouse lodges and simple restaurants along the route for long that must be tackled in due course of time. Apart from this trouble, the trail will provide opportunities for enterprising individuals whereby they can build these places, which shall eventually assist the economies of each of the countries including India. It will definitely boost the Indian economy as well.
