DF|MG Records Releases David Frederick's Film Score To "Romeo and His Juliet"

Dec. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- df|MG Records is proud to release multi-award winning composer David Frederick's music score to the film "Romeo and His Juliet".

The film is a controversial drama capturing the forbidden love between two Broadway performers, and their love triangle that inevitably goes awry as their secrets are revealed just nights before their big play! Deeply rooted in Shakespearean literature, this film is full of twist, turns, mystery, deceit, and passion. The film is due to premier at RealBlack "Next Up Short Film Showcase 2011" on January 4th 2011 in Philadelphia.

The film's music score composed, performed and produced by Frederick features haunting yet simply orchestrated themes that uniquely support the characters and passion throughout the film while supporting the overall drama and suspense in the film.

"This was a fun project to score due to the unique characters and overall tension and passion throughout the film. Working with the Davis' vision, and really only having two weeks to create and complete the score, I was able to create a haunting theme base with simple and elegant orchestration to really fit with Davis' vision." Stated Frederick. Further adding, "I am truly pleased and grateful Davis Northern the director on the film chose me to score this unique picture. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed working with Davis."
