Alkyne Studios Releases Video Game Trivia

Dec. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Alkyne Studios announced the release of their application Video Game Trivia to the App Store on Tuesday.
    The application features over 1,300 unique questions with four different question types, including Multiple Choice, True/False, Hangman, Matching, and Popular Quotes. Over 15 major consoles are included, ranging from the Atari 2600 to the newest PC games.
    Video Game Trivia includes three different game modes: Quick-Play, a Challenge Mode for every included console, and a Lifetime of Gaming which quizzes players on the games of every major console over the past 25 years.
    The application tracks all asked questions, regardless of what mode the player is in, to eliminate repeated questions. The game also features full leaderboard support.
    The application opened with an introductory price of $0.99 and is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch platforms.
    The full list of consoles includes the Atari 2600, Intellivision, NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Dreamcast, Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, and PC.
