Great NH Restaurants Announces New Concept

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- New Hampshire —  2010 NH Restaurateur of the Year Tom Boucher of Great NH Restaurants, owner and CEO of T-BONES and Cactus Jack’s, is pleased to announce that his new concept, The Copper Door, which has been in the planning stages for over a year, will now come to fruition in Bedford, New Hampshire.

      This new concept has been waiting in the wings for Boucher to determine where and when the time was right to launch the new restaurant that will feature an “elevated, yet casual dining experience.”  “In a nutshell,” Boucher explains, “The Copper Door will be tasteful but not stuffy!”  Boucher is on the board of directors of the National Restaurant Association and during his extensive travels throughout the country, he has had the opportunity to dine at some of the finest, most popular restaurants.  Boucher noticed that only a few have managed to capture the combination of a classy, high-end restaurant without the typical stuffiness that most often follows.  “The combination of quality furnishings, tasteful ambiance with whimsical undertones, along with a Chef-inspired, made-from-scratch menu will be the key to our success,” Boucher continues.  

      Boucher and team have been working on and fine tuning this concept for over a year, and understood that not only did it have to be flawless, but the location and timing of the launch would be critical.  While many restaurants in the area have struggled, T-BONES and Cactus Jack’s credit their aggressive marketing efforts coupled with great execution from their staff with keeping them in growth mode.  Boucher feels that the economy has begun to turn and that the timing is now right to start this new concept and a letter of intent is in place for a spring 2011 groundbreaking.  

      Location was a crucial part of the decision to move forward on The Copper Door, and when Boucher approached the developers of the new Bedford Hills development located on Route 101 in Bedford, New Hampshire, he knew then all the pieces were finally in place.  Bedford Hills will be a multi-faceted project that will include a coffee shop, bank, and medical office building all positioned around a well-thought-out park.  Visibility for The Copper Door along with high traffic counts on Route 101 met Boucher’s location criteria.    

      “Our entire team is ready to launch this exciting new project,” Boucher said. “And, as a Bedford resident, I truly feel that we will create just the type of restaurant the community is looking for.”
