Dec. 18, 2010 - A product from Germany will revolutionize the future of first aid. The Hematrix® Active-Patch is an absorbent dressing capable of stopping even severe bleedings deep in the body tissue. The patch measuring only 10 x 10 cm can be applied by laymen as no medical knowledge is required. By simply pressing on the wound only for 5-6 minutes it stops the bleeding at the injured blood vessel, veins or arteries. The lifesaving product will be launched simultaneously in Europe and Middle East. Other parts of the world will follow next year. The German scientist and developer Dr. Dr. Stefan Bertsch (Munich) and his company Hematris Wound Care GmbH appointed Hematrix ME Ltd. (Dubai) as the sole marketing agent for the MENA region. The role of Hematrix ME Ltd. is marketing and appointing distributors for the Hematrix® Active-Patch. “Our next step is to appoint a experienced master distributor for the region as the link between the manufacturer and the distribution in Middle East” said the director of Hematrix ME Ltd.
