eBridge Solutions earns Green Business Designation

Dec. 17, 2010 - PRLog -- eBridge Solutions, a hosted applications provider for document and office management, earned the Green Business Designation from the City of Tampa and the Sustany Foundation.

The Green Business Designation Program idea emerged in 2009 from Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio’s Environmental Roundtable of citizens knowledgeable and involved in environmental issues throughout the Bay area and in particular, the City of Tampa. Sustainability has become a focus for the government and many organizations because they realize the concept of going green extends to every aspect of their business. Sustainable and eco-friendly business practices can make a company more desirable than their competition with faster time to market for products/services and happier employees.

“Since eBridge began almost 10 years ago, our goal has been to help businesses eliminate paper and improve their business processes. So, going after the Green Business Designation with the City of Tampa and the Sustany Foundation made perfect sense,” explained Leslie Haywood, eBridge Solutions’ CEO. “When we designed our new building, we incorporated as many green elements as possible, including recycled materials, lots of natural light and plants. We also put many green ideas into practice with our staff via our recycling program, elimination of paper products and promotion of biking to work.”
