Social Strata Releases Hoop.la, first Community Service that includes Branded iPhone App

Dec. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Social Strata, Inc., a privately-held, Seattle-based online community company, is changing the community landscape again with the release of Hoop.la, the first service to offer a custom-branded iPhone app for each paid site. There is no plug-in required, and Hoop.la customers get visibility in the iTunes store for their community.

“Our iPhone app is branded for each community, and is fully functional for blog posting, forum participation, chat events, and clip sharing. This will make it much easier for community members to stay engaged, even while on the go,” said Ted O’Neill, CEO of Social Strata. “

Hoop.la’s paid plans also include chat events, additional administrators/members, and full SLA/Enterprise deployment if required.

Hoop.la is a “freemium” service, with a very generous free online community package that incorporates a group blog and forums, custom domain option, and unlimited usage.  The kicker? Hoop.la’s free plans are totally ad-free.
