About the Author: Now retired from the entertainment industry, Carol Kimzey traveled for many years and gained acclaim as the lead singer with the well-known folk group of the ‘70s, The New Christy Minstrels. Today she lives on her family’s horse ranch in San Diego. She continues to write and care for the critters that inspire her children’s stories.
