HPHT Riser - Claxton Completes High-Pressure Riser Project for Deep Panuke Development

Dec. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- The 5000-psi riser system was supplied as a system-and-connector package that included large-bore, 24-in-diameter riser joints, Claxton positive-grip tension rings, an H4 connector, umbilicals and a hydraulic power unit, all of which were drawn directly from Claxton’s rapid call-off rental inventory.

Claxton also provided the personnel to run the system, which was used to drill and complete one new well and to re-enter and complete four suspended wells in approximately 44 m of water from the Rowan Gorilla III jackup rig.
