Raleigh, NC - Dr. Charles Ashley Mann has completed a one year program in dental implants with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In November 2010, he was awarded Fellow status with the ICOI. http://www.icoi.org Dr. Mann is now trained in Implant Surgery, Implant Prosthodontics, Implant Periodontics and Implant Maintenance.
The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is the premier organization for the training and certification in the practice and science of oral implants. The Fellowship status is an award bestowed upon active members of the program with a level of achievement in education, research and actual clinical experience.
The ICOA also provides training for the entire dental team to ensure that all members of the practice understand what is involved and know their part of the practice. The ICOI is a tax-exempt, non-profit, worldwide dental educational organization, dedicated to promoting scientific knowledge and improving the practice of dental implantology.
In 2010 Dr. Mann and his team celebrated the 10th anniversary of his family and cosmetic dental practice, C. Ashley Mann, DDS.http://www.drashleymann.com. Dr. Mann started his practice shortly after receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1999.
This year was also an active year for the C. Ashley Mann, DDS team. Team members were involved with the Susan B. Komen 5K race; the Salvation Army; raising funds for Wake Smiles; co-sponsoring the Cary Chamber of Commerce annual appreciation event; collecting food for the local North Carolina food bank and being a drop-off center for Toys for Tots.
