Gadgeteers to Make the Ultra-Portable MacBook Air Ultra-Secure

German Apple enthusiasts release "macBracket", a lightweight and high durability security bracket

Dec. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Heidelberg, Germany - The problem of locking down Apple's MacBook Air has been solved by German Apple lovers. After almost one year of designing, testing and prototyping, a German startup company released their security bracket for the MacBook Air yesterday.

"macBracket" is made of steel alloy and can be used with all cable locks that fit the standard Kensington security slot. It is compatible with all MacBook Air models with double hinges.

"We noticed that what was available was either too expensive, too bulky or looked awkward. We wanted to go beyond creating just a security device - our goal was to create a piece of art that serves a purpose" says Tom Ziehl, owner and founder of macBracket.com.

"Steve Jobs and his views on design have greatly influenced us and our product. We've learned a lot making this bracket and we're already working on new products", he continues.

macBracket can be ordered online via the macBracket website and is shipped worldwide.
