Each manufacturer leads the field for various reasons of course, but when it comes to LCD HDTV technology the field gets much wider. You have to throw Sony, Vizio, Sharp and Toshiba into the mix. The field for LED HDTV technology is a blend of the previous two with Toshiba making a strong statement. When it comes to DLP technology which is more suitable for large-format TV screens, I personally feel Mitsubishi makes some of the better HDTV's over 70 inches."
