Kauzbots selected to sell cause focused toys and apparel that supports non-profits at Unique LA.

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Kauzbots is excited to announce they are included in an impressive list of “hand-selected” designers and artists chosen to participate in the Unique LA.  Unique LA held in downtown Los Angeles, California is the largest independent design and gift show in the country.  Kauzbots is joining other designers and sellers of plush toys, gifts for children, jewelry, clothing, art and much more.  It an ideal location for those seeking holiday gifts that are unique, support a cause, eco-friendly or produced by local companies.  Unique LA occurs this weekend, on December 11th and 12th from 11 am to 6pm, both days, at the California Market Center.  

Unique LA offers attendees shopping, live entertainment, workshops, food, free drinks and hosted bar, and huge variety of gift buying choices from toy robots by Kauzbots to clothes and apparel from some of the hottest upcoming designers in Los Angeles.  Over 300 vendors are scheduled to appear at the holiday shopping event.  The cost for a 2 day pass to Unique LA is only $10.  The 2 day pass includes a free tote bag designed by a mystery artist, access to the workshops, the family and kid’s creativity zone, opportunity drawings, door prizes and souvenir copy of the Unique LA mini-magazine.

Causes include autism, the environment, homelessness, hunger, breast cancer, pediatric health, clean water, refugees and more. Unique LA was started by Sonja Rasula to try and bring the focus of shopping and gift buying back to the local community. The organizations participating in the event are from the Southern California, with most from Los Angeles and Orange County.  The way Unique LA sets itself apart from other similar events is that it really focuses on businesses local to California.  Past Unique events in Los Angeles and Orange County have proven that the balance of shopping, social experience and event entertainment can create the ideal setting to discover what Southern California businesses are producing, as well as a chance to meet the designers one-on-one.  Unique LA events are ideal for last minute Christmas shopping and spending a day with a friend at a local market unlike any other.

Unique LA covers the entire penthouse floor at California Market Center (CMC), the center is located at 110 East 9th Street in downtown Los Angeles, California. Convenient parking is available in the large underground parking garage, with entrances from both Main Street and Los Angeles Street.
