Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Parago (www.parago.com), provider of innovative reward programs that drive behavior and promote brand loyalty with consumers, announced that it was named the Best Overall Company of the Year amongst Service Businesses up to 2,500 Employees by the 7th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Parago was a finalist in the same category last year. This is in addition to the 2009 win by President & CEO Juli Spottiswood for Best Entrepreneur in Service Businesses up to 2,500 Employees category.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Parago is an industry leader in consumer incentive and rebate programs, delivering its clients game-changing promotional programs that elevate their businesses. It is Parago’s focus on innovation, operational excellence and providing the best consumer experience that has propelled it forward in this tumultuous economy. From its beginning, Parago has introduced significant paradigm shifts - drastically improving the consumer incentive experience and clients’ results – and with nearly 150 clients, Parago delivers these rewards to one out of every two American households every year.

“During the recession we have continued our dogged commitment to innovation and pioneering new offerings in consumer incentives, because our clients relied on us more than ever to deliver incredible results,” said Spottiswood. “It is an honor to be recognized by the prestigious Stevie Awards again for our continued growth and successes with our proprietary consumer incentive and rebate programs. We are deeply appreciative that organizations like the Stevie Awards continue to acknowledge and foster women’s leadership in business.”

More than 1,200 entries – a record for the competition - were submitted this year for consideration in 54 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program.

Finalists in the competition were chosen by business professional worldwide during preliminary judging in September and October.   Final judging was conducted by members of the awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors in late October to select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists.

“It was harder than ever to be recognized in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business this year,” said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.  “Receiving a high score from the judges this year illustrates how well many women in business are doing despite the stiff challenges they face.”
