ValueMomentum is ranked 225th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific program’ for 2010

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- On 2 December 2010, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Industry Group announced the results of the ninth annual Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Program. ValueMomentum is pleased to announce that it is ranked 225th under this program with a revenue growth of 171% during the three immediate preceding years.

This program recognizes technology companies that have achieved the fastest rates of annual revenue growth in Asia Pacific during the past three years (http://www.deloitte.com/fast500asiapac). It includes companies based in Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Japan, Macau SAR, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Sector Trends: Technology sectors evaluated include: computer peripherals, semiconductors, internet, media, biotech, software and green technology companies. For the fourth year in a row, Software outranked all other sectors, with 145 firms in the Technology Fast 500. Among the software companies, ValueMomentum comes in the 62nd place.

About the program: Now in its ninth year, the Technology Fast 500 program—as well as the accompanying CEO Survey analysis that highlights the movers, shakers and key trends in the TMT industry—continues to be sought out by technology companies the world over.

Eligibility criteria: In order to qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2010 program, the company must meet the following criteria:

•   Operating revenues must be at least USD$50,000 in the first year of the three years being analyzed. Be in business a minimum of three years. Be headquartered within Asia Pacific.

•   The technology company must meet one of the technology definitions as outlined here: Owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues. Manufactures a technology related product. Devotes a significant proportion of operating revenues to research and development of technology.
