Where Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy Bosquez was announced Miss Earth Fire and Miss Ecuador Jennifer Pazmino won the Miss Earth Air title. Talking about Nicole, Miss India World 2010, Manasvi Mamgai said, “I feel very happy for her. This is the only title India has won this year, so it's great. Nicole has got the looks, so we all had expectations that she would win.” Nicole fared very well in all rounds, however in question-answer round where she was asked 'What time of the day do you prefer - sunrise or sunset?' She said, “Sunrise. Because each time I wake up to a new day, it feels like a new beginning to me with renewed hope.” It was winning answer, which was clicked very well among jury and audiences. “All clapped on this answer for long time and I can still feel and hear the resounding applause in my mind,” said Nicole Faria. She was dressed in a crystal-studded flowery gown designed by Archana Kochhar in final round and looked stunning During an interview, Nicole said, "I want to make friends and enjoy my time in Vietnam. It's not about winning or losing, but how you play the game." She is happy that her family has supported her throughout contest. This five feet nine and half inch tall beauty was a student of Mount Carmel. She now looks forward to channelise her energies in saving the environment. She has come a long way after winning the Miss India South 2010 title. She wants to encourage more cycle rickshaws on the roads. She think running them will not only bring employment to poor people, but also cut down the pollution level and conserve fuel. Born to a Goan father and Punjabi mother, music and dancing has always been in her genes and it was belly dancing that helped Nicole clinch the Miss Earth title.
