Florida Rehab Transformations Treatment Center Helps Decrease Suicide Rates among Addicts

Suffering from an addiction or alcoholism can happen to anybody and those that abuse substances have a higher rate of developing depression or to incur suicidal thoughts.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 7, 2010 - (DELRAY BEACH, Fla.)  In the United States, suicide due to substance abuse is the second most common cause, after depression and other mood disorders.
At Transformations Treatment Center in Delray Beach, Florida, we understand the chronic levels of addiction and alcoholism that face society today and as a result, it is our goal to provide the type of assistance needed to help someone get permanently clean and sober.  Suffering from an addiction or alcoholism can happen to anybody and those that abuse substances have a higher rate of developing depression or to incur suicidal thoughts.  Because we know how profoundly heartbreaking it can be to face an addiction or alcohol problem, we truly care about the health and safety of our clients.
Many treatment programs use a one-sized-fits-all approach to treating substance abuse; at Transformations we provide a level of care which is unsurpassed.  By incorporating the needs of our clients into an innovative treatment plan, we are fully prepared to help someone recover when faced with any type of addiction problem.  Our staff is comprised of licensed, skilled rehabilitation and medical professionals which enables us to give a client the best possible care and attention when being treated in our facility.
We strive to go above and beyond of what is expected in treating our clients and offer a traditional approach or faith-based, Christian drug and alcohol treatment.  Studies have shown addicts and alcoholics face staggering odds when trying to become clean and sober, we are fully aware of how precious life is and incorporate a humanistic and compassionate attitude when working with someone during the delicate transition from addiction to sobriety.    In order to decrease the chances of someone in our care suffering from rebound depression and falling prey to relapse or worse, we take the situation seriously and provide ongoing counseling and therapy for those in need of continued assistance.  Not everyone suffering from alcoholism or substance abuse will necessarily fall into the trap of depression, but at Transformations Treatment Center we work proactively to ensure the success of our clients while in treatment and beyond.
We work with our clients to ensure the person has the resources and ability to achieve the best possible outcome.  Upon completion of our program, we provide sober living housing and additional services to each client and if a relapse is experienced at any time within the first year, we invite the person to come back and get help at no additional costs.  The treatment we offer not only changes lives, it saves lives as well, which is at the core of our mission and something we consider to be the most important of all things we can provide for a newly rehabilitated individual.
If you have any other questions or would like more information, we invite you to contact Transformations Treatment Center today for further assistance.
