Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach Help Sponsor Toy Drive Benefiting Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach

Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- December 6, 2010 – Signal Hill, Calif. – Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach is excited to confirm the toy drive event they helped sponsor for the Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach was successful.
The event took place at the Parker’s Lighthouse in Long Beach, on Saturday, December 4. The local community was invited to attend and donate an unwrapped toy to a child who would be spending the holidays at the Miller Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from event activities also benefited the organization.
Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach had the opportunity to take part in the event by donating a children’s Mercedes-Benz SL electric car that was raffled-off. As well as, lending Santa an E350 to drive for the event.
“Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach is honored to support such a great organization like the Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach,” said Bob Milner, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach. “As a successful brand, we want to help our community organizations become successful as well. By helping our local charities, we help our local communities as a whole. ”
Attendees had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa, as well as participate in the breakfast with Santa, a raffle and other activities.
The Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach provides a wide range of primary and specialty care for children of all ages, from newborns to young adults, as well as expectant mothers.
