Horizon Forest Products Recognizes Customers at Customer Appreciation Nights

Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, NC – Horizon Forest Products (HFP), a top distributor of products for hardwood flooring contractors and custom cabinetmakers in the southeast, recently held its Customer Appreciation Nights at all of its branch locations.  The events were held at Charleston, SC; Wilmington, NC; Raleigh, NC; and Colfax, NC and attracted close to 300 attendees representing 152 companies.

This is the 13th open house that the hardwood company has provided for its customers.  HFP President, David Williams, says that Customer Appreciates Nights are intended to show customers how much they are valued and appreciated.  He says that Horizon Forest Product’s entire year culminates with these events that are organized to bring employees, vendors, and customers together to build on current relationships and have a great time.

“I want to thank all of our customers for attending the Customer Appreciation Nights in October,” says Williams.  “I have heard from many of our customers saying how much they enjoyed the event.  As a company, we don’t ever have enough time to thank each and every customer like we should during the year.  Having these events at each of our branch locations give us that chance.”

Ten Oaks, 3M, and Bona sponsored this year’s events, which featured various door prizes donated by attending vendors.  In addition, each branch gave away $1,000 to one lucky winner. Previous events awarded grand prizes such as SEA-DOO GTI 4-Tec Watercrafts, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and a 2008 Corvette.

“Our main goal of our Customer Appreciation Nights is to make sure everyone has a good time and that no one leaves either hungry or empty handed,” says Williams.  “We had plenty of great food available and wonderful door prizes and giveaways.  Our motto is ‘We appreciate our customers’ and this event truly reinforces our commitment.”

HFP Wilmington Branch Manager, David Blackburn, adds that the events are also a great way to connect customers with vendors.

“I felt that our customers spent good quality time with our vendors,” says Blackburn.  “The vendors were impressed that our customers were eager to learn about the products that each had offered and how they could improve their business to become more profitable.”
