Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Both Poricy Park, Middletown and Monmouth Museum, Lincroft are hoping you’ll make your Christmas more green than red.

This Sunday, Poricy Park is hosting a decoration making workshop called “Go Green with These Crafts.” All ornaments will be made of natural ingredients. The workshop is appropriate for any age, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Sunday, December 12, 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM.

Monmouth Museum is hosting a similar workshop on Sunday, December 19. Kids can enjoy making unique crafts using recycled and found materials. Your kids can get some ideas from the museum’s holiday exhibit featuring trees and trimmings with an environmental and ecological theme. The ornaments are hand-crafted with recycled and reclaimed materials, as is the model railroad. Sunday, December 19, 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM
