Wyndham Philadelphia-Mount Laurel Employees Collect Food for Local Food Bank

Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- On the cool, crisp morning of November 23, 2010, the blue and white van of the Wyndham Philadelphia-Mount Laurel pulled up to the front doors of the Food Bank of South Jersey, located in Pennsauken, New Jersey, packed with assorted food items.

“Our employees wanted to give back to the community in the spirit of the Thanksgiving Holiday” says Randi Barr, Director of Human Resources, who organized the collection of the food at the hotel over the weeks leading up to November 23rd.

Over 160 pounds of non-perishable food items were donated, which will be distributed to those in need throughout the surrounding community during this holiday season.  The Wyndham Philadelphia-Mount Laurel management and staff watched with excitement as the boxes fill up over the weeks and they look forward to meeting their goal of delivering over 200 pounds next year!
