Remember the Magic with Virgil Gibson of the World Famous Platters

Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Virgil Gibson, former Lead Singer for the world famous Platters, will "Remember the Magic" of an era of music still alive in the hearts and minds of the Baby Boomer Crowd with memorable hits such as Only You, Up On The Roof, In The Still Of The Night, You Send Me, Only You, My Girl,Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and so many more.  

Fleet Easton will open for Gibson.  Easton is a local favorite winning the praise and adulation along with the prestigous "Desert Idol" award.  Fleet is a dynamic performer whose renditions of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Engelbert Humperdink, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and more will make you think they are living in him!

Their first performance together will be at The Rock Garden Cafe, 777 S Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA on Saturday January 8th from 7 to 9pm and Sunday, January 9th from 5 to 7pm.  Seating is going fast.  Call 760-327-8840 to make your reservations.  Proceeds to benefit the Animal Samaritan Hospital.
