Sun SafeTee® Program Announces New Sponsor

Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- The Sun SafeTee Program announced today that SunGrubbies.com, an online vendor of sun protective products and clothing, has agreed to become a sponsor and support the organization’s efforts to educate golfers on sun protection and skin cancer prevention.

This year in the United States more than two million Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer.  Melanoma,  a deadly form of skin cancer, is the most common cancer among young adults age 21 to 25.  Since golfers spend a greater amount of time in the sun than the average person, they may have a higher risk of developing sun damage and skin cancer.
