CEM Inc. begins pre-production on romantic comedy “Half an Orange"

Dec. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- CEM Inc. is pleased to announce pre-production has begun for the feature film “Half an Orange,” a new romantic comedy set in the world of the Spanish Telenovela and written by veteran screenwriter, Catherine T. Fridey.

The film is a comedic story at the soap opera behind the soap opera and what happens when mutual attraction and misunderstanding come to a boiling point at a Quinceañera (sweet fifteen) party.  “Half an Orange” is a multi-cultural love story that is witty and entertaining and will be enjoyed by both English and Spanish viewers.

Funding has been provided for by and principal photography is slated for May, 2011, in Canada.

Additionally, Creative Entertainment & Media Inc. announces a new slate of projects for 2011, from reality shows to edgy scripted series and features, CEM’s growing library of programming is catching the attention of networks, studio executives and investors.
