Elkhart County's Hidden Companies at 2010 RVIA Show

Dec. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Elkhart County was well represented this week at the 48th Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.

According to RVBusiness.com "In two sports arenas, hallways, meeting rooms and expansive convention space, 318 exhibitors who make anything and everything for RVs had their goods on display. Of those exhibitors, at least 83 were from Elkhart County."

While this is an impressive number, it does not really justify the impact Elkhart County companies have within the RV industry. One example is UHI Worldwide, manufacturers of UltraHeat® Tank Heaters, which prevent the contents of your holding tanks from freezing when the temperature is below freezing.

Mike Lewis, VP of UHI Worldwide, stated "We did not exhibit this year because your products are in vitually every RV you see at this show. However, it is important for us to be here to engage with customers, prospects, and to learn about the newest methodoligies technologies within the industry."

Another example is Carpenter Company, who manufacture a wide variety of polyurethane foam and polyester fiber comfort cushioning to enhance RV seating and bedding.

So, it remains that Elkhart County is the RV Capital of the World for good reason.
