Natalie Strong's 'The Wonder Women Network' is living up to her name

The Wonder Women Network is a local community-based portal to champion and promote business wonder women whilst inspiring and informing its subscribers. Focusing on Greenwich & Blackheath in SE London, there are national franchise plans underway.

Dec. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- The Wonder Women Network is the brainchild of Natalie Strong, a former television director of the likes of Grand Designs, House Doctor and Escape to the Country. Launched less than two months ago, the web-based network is living up to her name “it’s really going strong, with just under thirty local business women already signed up and almost 200 subscribers”.  In Facebook terms, this may seem like small fry, but for a network aimed at women running small businesses in the relatively modest enclave of Greenwich and Blackheath in SE London, this is an exciting start.

“It’s been great!  I already had links with several large networks of local women, through my ‘Running Mummies’ classes in Greenwich Park, my involvement in my daughter’s school PTA and through my son’s nursery.  The inspiration behind the network was meeting numerous women at these groups - women who have turned their entrepreneurial dreams into reality (in many cases at the same time as juggling a MPV-full of children, heading up local committees and competing in several charity runs!). There are so many wonder women on my doorstep and I want everyone in the area to know about them.”

“I’ve always loved to read articles about women who are in a similar boat to me and think that others will be equally curious and inspired”.  It seems they are; Louise Hatch has recently subscribed “I was drawn to the site….love the ethos! Love the community feel.. look forward to seeing more empowered women living their dreams”  and Kate Jaconello:, “I’d like to join this inspired, wonderful network you have created and are building. Fantastic”

As a business woman, if you sign up, Natalie will write you a 400-word business profile, post it onto the website, duplicate the article on LinkedIn and in one of her e-newsletters and promote you via Twitter and Facebook. She also offers additional social media marketing and press releases services.

One wonder woman Lyndsey Hickson was more than a little excited about her business profile: “OMG! Natalie you are amazing! Your description wants me to book myself for my own event! “I love it! It's really hard to enthuse people about what I do and its benefits, but you have captured it brilliantly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Another feature of the network is the Wonder Card: a discount card available to subscribers of The Wonder Women Network’s e-newsletter which gives access to unique discounts from participating wonder women. Be inspired by reading the profiles of the following business women and see what discounts they are offering subscribers:
