The New England Historical Connection Hosts "An American Classic Holiday Open House" in Wilton, CT

Come celebrate the holiday season at, "An American Classic Holiday Open House." Featuring: 18th and 19th century holiday inspired American Folk Art, holiday decorations, American period style furniture, holiday furnishings and accessories.

Dec. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Come join the holiday celebration. On Sunday, December 5th, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, The New England Historical Connection of 300 Danbury Road in Wilton, CT will host "An American Classic Holiday ~ Open House."

The show will feature the artists, Evi Araujo of Evi’s Country Snippets and her beautiful  handmade dolls, as well as wonderful period inspired chalkware Santas and holiday ornaments by Kathy McDonald. The show also includes chalkware Santas from the 1840 Stone House Collection of Mineral Point, Wisconsin.

Other featured items: 18th and 19th century holiday inspired American Folk Art and holiday woodcarvings, Christmas and holiday decorations, American classic home furnishings, American period style wood furniture (handmade chests, cabinets, armoires, chests of drawers, tables, and chairs) and many seasonal accessories for the home.

Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. Santa Claus "Skip" will come down the chimney at 12:30 PM.
