December 1, 2010 -- First Financial Merchant Services (FFMS) has announced a new partnership with Children’s Miracle Network, a charity that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals.

In a campaign called “Credit Card Processing for a Miracle,” FFMS will now donate 10 percent of proceeds from each merchant’s credit card processing fees to Children’s Miracle Network. Merchants simply need to sign up with FFMS for their credit card processing needs and request to participate in the campaign. There is no cost to the merchant and FFMS has committed to match what they are already paying in processing fees.

“With more than 6 million businesses in the United States accepting credit cards, the potential for generating funds for hospitals is enormous,” said Brian Hazelgren, Chief Development Officer for Children’s Miracle Network.

“This is an untapped reserve of millions of dollars for these children. Let First Financial Merchant Services process your credit card transactions, and the children are the real winners!” said national project administrator, Danny Rail. Children’s Miracle Network’s 170 hospitals are available 24 hours a day to help children overcome every imaginable disease and injury, regardless of their ability to pay.  These children’s hospitals are also on the front lines of preventing disease and injury through research, education and outreach programs that keep millions of kids out of the hospital each year.  Raising additional funds is critical to fulfilling this mission. Donations to Children's Miracle Network stay in the community in which they are raised, benefiting that community’s Children's Miracle Network hospital.
