The main providers of Sugar cane today are India, Pakistan, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Australia, Ecuador, Cuba, the Philippines, El Salvador and Hawaii.  As these countries have a good source of sun.  So it goes to show Hawaii isn't just a good place for Maui vacation rentals as it is one of the key growers of sugar cane in the united states
