Dec. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Wood Green Animal Shelters is inviting all dog owners to attend a community dog care roadshow in Cambridge this month.

The animal welfare charity, which rehomed more than 5,500 animals last year, will hold the event at Glebelands Primary School, Farriers Gate, Chatteris on December 7 from 3.30am to 5.30pm.

Staff from the Shelters will be on hand to offer microchipping for £5 which means a dog will be permanently identified should he get lost or stolen.

Dog owners can also get their pets wormed and treated for fleas for just £5.

Each dog can be fitted with a free lead, collar, harness and receive free dog toys. There will also be goody bags for owners.

No appointment is needed, just drop by.

For further information call the Hands On team on 0844 248 8181 ext 1312.
