Dance Asylum Welcomes World Champion Petra Chovancova to Orange County

Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Dance Asylum, Orange County’s premier upscale dance studio has welcomed World Champion Petra Chovancova to their Costa Mesa team of instructors. Petra began her career at the tender age of six in her native county the Czech Republic, spending her early years immersing herself in the world of ballet, but found her passion on the Ballroom floor in her late teens. Petra and her childhood dance partner Rosta Liduch were winners of the Czech Championships and finalists, as well as semi-finalists, at several International Competitions. After an extensive competitive career, Petra took her love of dance to the next level by becoming an instructor. She has spent the last 10 years cultivating the next generation of champions on the dance floor and is a welcome addition to Dance Asylum’s award winning team of instructors. Petra is available for private lessons as well as group lessons, offering instruction on all types of Ballroom dance as well as many Latin dances.
