Dec. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- BRANCHBURG, N.J. – SaaShr.com (www.SaaShr.com), a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) with a major push in Workforce Management Applications, has recently enhanced its mid-market edition applications to include two interactive dashboards; a premium and standard version. The premium dashboard view allows users to define a snapshot of various reports and tools, all accessible from a single location. This can result in a faster, more streamlined utilization of the organization’s applications and provide insight into key workforce activity indicators across an entire organization.

Data garnished from the premium dashboard allows instant insight into employee attendance behaviors, labor distribution, and overall workforce management operations. The technology behind the dashboard’s platform leverages an application programming interface (API) for widgets. This technology will give SaaShr.com partners that are reselling its applications the ability to integrate third party applications and data within the premium dashboard for clients. These widgets will then be displayed on the dashboard screen upon logging in to the applications.

The standard dashboard is complimentary for all users of SaaShr.com’s applications. Utilized mostly on the employee level, the standard dashboard allows users to check accrual balances, verify schedules, request time off, and add reminders to an electronic sticky note. The dashboard also acts as a centralized point of contact for employees to view announcements, keep track of events, and collaborate on a global level. Customizable by the employee, end user organization, or a reselling partner, the dashboard can be configured to include real-time reports or commonly accessed information that provides the ability to drill down to specific areas within the applications. This permits users to easily navigate to these frequently used areas of the applications as long as that particular user has been granted access to do so.

The premium dashboard enables additional, more robust reporting for both managers and administrators including graphs and reports, many of which double as tools and are displayed in real-time. This enables these management-level users to respond and act on the data being viewed instantaneously, which can lead to an increase in productivity. For example, the missing punch overview displays employees who forgot or neglected to punch in or out. A manager or administrator can address those missing punches directly from that report within the dashboard. Additional reports available in this version of the dashboard can include pending time off requests, upcoming birthdays, and a view of employees currently at work or absent, among many others.

“The dashboard will facilitate a more customizable demonstration environment for partners, generating a higher level of interest in the applications among prospective clients,” said Alex Arbelaez, Business Development Manager at SaaShr.com. “Based on initial feedback from our partner base, all of the clients that saw a demonstration of the feature requested to have it configured.”
