Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- As I was reordering my Day-Timer inserts for 2011 (yes, I prefer the good old fashioned kind you can still write in), I noticed a little card that was included with my order and it was titled “Tips for Success…” well you know I HAD to read it and they were so good I wanted to take the time to share them with all of you as my way of saying “Thank You” for being wonderful clients and wishing you great success!

1) Make effective use of downtime by having a book or article with you to pass the time. (I always have a newsletter or one of the 4 books I read at once with me where ever I go!)

2) Break larger projects into smaller ones that are easily accomplished (This is a BIG one! Other wise we never get started!).

3) Keep a clutter-free work surface (a difficult task for me since I like to work simultaneously!)

4) Touch Paper only once and decide immediately what you need to do with it. (transformational especially when you run multiple businesses like real estate, home staging, home staging training, marketing…you get the idea!)

5) Create and prioritize your “to-do” list each day to concentrate on the ones most important to your productivity. I always teach this in all of my Home Stager, Stager Pro,and PD courses….focus on your money tasks first and then you can do all the others later (or when you are tired!)

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving to the best group of Certified Home Stagers in the World!

All my best wishes,
