The Singing Solicitor to rival X-Factor

Norwich-based legal firm, Hatch Brenner, have embraced YouTube as part of a new campaign to raise awareness of mediation. The law firm have produced an original composition and music video in the hope of achieving viral success.

 
PRLog - Nov. 30, 2010 - The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the process of mediation as a simpler alternative to litigation in a light hearted and accessible way. "Mediation is faster, cheaper and less stressful than going to court" says lead mediator Mark Fitch, "however, when people find themselves in a dispute their first thought is often to see a lawyer and sue, often resulting in lengthy, costly and stressful court battles that could otherwise have been resolved through discussion".

The decision to create an online video was first touted by Norwich design agency The Click, (http://theclickdesign.co.uk) whom Hatch Brenner had contacted for campaign ideas. It was at this stage that video marketing company, Lambda Films (http://www.lambdafilms.com) were commissioned to fulfill the brief.
"Our first thought when approached by Hatch Brenner was; how do we make the subject of mediation interesting and fun?" said Lambda Creative Director, Ryan Stone. "However, one of their aims was to 'get mediation stuck in people's heads' so from that sprang the idea of a catchy song & video."

The song and music video, is also accompanied by three extra behind-the-scenes videos that look at the conception and production of the video, and also offer a little extra information on the subject of mediation.
