TAPP partnered with the Texas Rangers in 2009 and with the San Diego Padres in 2010 to honor combat wounded Veterans with the American Patriot Award and complementary 'Patriot Pleasantry Package'.

In 2010, TAPP honored thirteen American Patriot Award recipients throughout the major league baseball season in addition to honoring combat wounded Veterans with the national level award at minor league baseball game venues.

During TAPP's 2011 Fields of Green tour, a Purple Heart recipient will be honored with the national level award by a Major League Baseball team, respective to their own State, each month throughout the 2011 MLB season.

American Patriot Award Recipients will be selected from a core group of national Veterans service and support organizations that have partnered with TAPP and which serve as military liaison's for American Patriot Program Honor Events.

The first Honor Event will take place in April following the close of TAPP’s Operation Fire and Ice’ American Patriot Goalie Stick Award season.

TAPP is currently working with American based National Hockey League teams to honor Purple Heart recipients with the hockey themed American Patriot Award during the 2010-2011 NHL season.

TAPP also has announced that two additional Patriot Pleasantry Partners have been added to its 2011 complementary award package presentation.  Remember The Wounded Ride of Oregon is contributing commemorative Gold Series RTWR clothing.  Products for Good Inc. of North Carolina has also stepped up to honor award recipients with a personally engraved Purple Heart shadow box.
