Haiti Elections Chosen As Broadband Premiere Date For Shocking Documentary Film

The Haiti Information Project (HIP) announced the release of the documentary film Haiti: We Must Kill the Bandits on broadband pay-per-view the same day as elections in Haiti on November 28, 2010.

Nov. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Oakland, California - November 28, 2010  -- Film producer Kevin Pina has teamed up with the UK-based company Streaming Video Provider to release his latest documentary, Haiti: We Must Kill the Bandits, on broadband pay-per-view.

This broadband pay-per-view release of a documentary is unique in that it is timed to a specific important event in the country that is the subject of the film, in this case elections in Haiti, to attract an international audience.

“I chose election day in Haiti to premiere the film as a pay-per-view because it gives vital information and context to them. Unfortunately, the message of the film explains why these elections won’t solve Haiti’s problems” stated Pina.

When asked to explain Pina stated, “This documentary shows one important aspect of the intergenerational trauma experienced by the Haiti people. Until issues like those shown in the film are addressed, little progress can be made towards reconciliation that is vital to rebuilding Haiti.”

The broadband pay-per-view premiere of Haiti: We Must Kill the Bandits can be accessed through the Haiti Information Project (HIP) blog site http://www.haitiinformationproject.blogspot.com
