By: Change Wind Corporation The Company’s vertically integrated manufacturing structure will create 182 jobs in the windmill manufacturing operation and will create an addition 32 jobs in generator production. The manufacturing facility will occupy 100,000 to 120,000 square feet and will initially operate one work shift per day. Change Wind Corporation will implement an energy independence program for its host community that will provide windmills for fire stations, schools and public parks that will reduce the community’s energy operating budget. The strategy is to create a model community that achieves partial energy independence and in doing so reduces its operating costs by harnessing $10’s of thousands of dollars worth of electricity from the wind in a quiet and unobtrusive manner. Change Wind Corporation will coordinate its worldwide marketing and public information campaign by highlighting how its host community benefits from reduced operating costs and is helping to preserve the environment by significantly shrinking its Carbon footprint. The initial product line will be comprised of three models which include a 6 kilowatt-hour windmill that produces + - $1,8601 in electricity per year, an 18 kilowatt-hour windmill that produces + - $5,5901 of electricity per year and a 36 kilowatt-hour model that produces + - $11,1801 of electricity per year. The windmills are installed onto a concrete footing that enables the windmill to function without the need for guidewires. The factory supplied electrical interface permits the end user to consume 100% of the electricity produced by the windmill and automatically switches to land power in no or low-wind conditions. Additionally the switching mechanism (in net-metering states) will permit the end-user to turn their meter backwards in situations where the windmill’s electrical production exceeds the end-users consumption. Change Wind Corporation is proud to announce that it has received an order for the first 36 kilowatt-hour windmill that is to be installed in the Stroudsburg, PA area from Major Hyundai. Dan Dortic VP of Major Hyundai in Stroudsburg, PA is focused on leading the drive toward green vehicles and utilizing renewable energy technologies to supplement the upcoming Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Change Wind Corporation would like to thank Michelle Bisbing and Charles Leonard from the Pocono Moutains Economic Development Corporation and Stephen Yokimishyn of the Governor’s Action Team for their encouragement as to our effort to establish manufacturing operations in Pennsylvania. 1Annual electrical production is calculated on the basis of a $.11 per kilowatt hour.
