Nov. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- With less than 4 days for the Cancun climate talks to begin there are high speculations about the what will happen this time. Will nations compromise for a better environment? There are lot of questions to be answered by both developed and developing countries and it would not be an easy task.

Last year's meeting at Copenhagen, dubbed as a failure, did see some big and powerful people participating in the negotiations. However, this year at Cancun, there has been no such announcement indicating presence of  big leaders. This obviously raises the question that - has the domestic power equation tilted against these leaders forcing them to keep away from this year's meeting?

Will China, India or other developing countries take a lead? How much has the weak global economy affected the climate-change negotiations? Will countries be able to enact appropriate environment legislations back at home? How popular or unpopular have been such policies? Will a climate-fund be created? What could be the other possible outcomes?

The snap-survey focuses on such issues and provides an opportunity to express opinion. The survey is available online at the URL: http://www.thinktosustain.com/greenzone/cancun-2010-opini... and can be taken till 28th November 2010.
